The Gallery was purpose-built next to the Muchelney Pottery shop in 2004, providing a lofty, contemporary space for the display and sale of signed work by John Leach, Nick Rees and Mark Melbourne, together with a changing selection of prints, paintings, ceramics, sculpture, textiles & woodwork by leading west country artists. Regular exhibitions of work by well-known international artists are also held.

We launch Greg’s new collection as he uncovers life at Muchelney Pottery and life on the Somerset Levels. We potters will be exhibiting new signed work from recent kiln firings.

Andrea Clark:
All Creatures Great & Small

This is Andrea's first solo exhibition in the John Leach Gallery and will include original paintings, drawings and prints.

'My work is largely inspired by my interest in charcoal and pastels as well as the array of animals that I am surrounded by at my home in Martock, Somerset. My move towards printmaking has provided a different dimension to my work in recent years.'
